KARACHI: A local court has issued bailable warrant of provincial minister for excise and taxation Mukeesh Kumar Chawla and his aides in a land grabbing case. Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) filed a petition in the court of judicial magistrate Gulam Rasool Mir Jatt that Mukeesh Kumar Chawla belonged to PPP and his associates grabbing government land and carrying out illegal construction. Police is avoiding taking action against them because they are influential persons. In the initial hearing, court has issued the warrant and postponed hearing till November 2.
