SC asks for details on handing-over Pakistanis

Updated at: 1428 PST, Monday, November 16, 2009 ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has ordered Federal Interior Ministry to present details about handing-over Pakistani citizens to other counties indicating that it will give no more respite to government in missing people case. A three –member bench of the Apex Court, headed by Justice Javed Iqbal, conducted the hearing of the case of some missing persons Monday. SC asked the Acting Attorney General to present details about the Pakistanis detained in the foreign jails informing the Apex Court that how many Pakistani citizens have been handed-over to foreign countries. Earlier, SC said in remarks that Apex Court did never supported terrorists and it was maligned by baseless allegations. Justice Javed said if someone is accused of being a terrorist he should be tried in the court, however investigation agencies do not follow the principle
